ILLINOIS HOUSE COMMITTEE DECIDED ON TEACHING COURSE ON GENOCIDE IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The bill states that all public elementary and high schools should have a unit covering genocide throughout the world, including the Armenian Genocide, the killings in Ukraine as well as recent incidents in Cambodia, Bosnia, Rwanda and Sudan. Currently, public schools are required to teach a course on the Holocaust only.
