AZERI HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS CALL INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS TO RECOGNIZE "KARABAKH GUERILLAS" AS POLITICAL PRISONERS

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The trial of the group of people named "Karabakh guerillas" testifies that the verdict brought on them maintained a hidden political motive, the statement issued by a group of Azeri human rights defenders and addressed to a number of international organizations. The authors of the document stress that the juridical norms were violated during the investigation. Thus in accord with the hallmark by CE experts these persons can be considered political prisoners. The Azeri human rights defenders say that "the aspiration of the guerillas to liberate the seized territories of Azerbaijan is fair" and call to take measures to release these people.
