Inter-parliamentary cooperation, regional issues and Azerbaijani assassin Ramil Safarov’s case was on agenda. Hovik Abrahamyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to development of ties with Scandinavian countries, particularly enhancing high-level political dialogue with Finland. He further invited Eero Heinäluoma to pay an official visit to Armenia, with the invitation accepted with great delight. Finnish official, in turn, underscored the importance of high-level meetings, stressing the need to activate inter-parliamentary ties and cooperation with international institutions. Dwelling on regional developments, Eero Heinäluoma deemed Safarov’s extradition and release inadmissible.
