Armenia’s Democratic Party head not to run for president

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of Democratic Party of Armenia Aram Sargsyan has no intention to run for president.

“The final format of the party’s participation in the race will be determined at the beginning of the next year,” he told a press conference.

Dwelling on the possible cooperation between the Democratic Party and other political forces at the upcoming elections, Mr. Sargsyan noted the party’s readiness to back the candidate who will be able to solve the existing problems. In this context, he hailed President Serzh Sargsyan’s ability to justify public expectations.
