Armenian FM, OSCE Secretary General discuss Karabakh issue![]() September 29, 2012 - 16:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier as part of his visit to New York. Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and preparation for the OSCE foreign ministers’ meeting in Dublin was in the focus of the discussion. Minister Nalbandian further met with the delegation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), chaired by the associate director of International Affairs for AJC Aaron Jacob, with developments in the South Caucasus and in the Middle East on agenda. Armenian-Belarusian cooperation in the framework of OSCE, CIS and other international organizations was discussed during Minister Nalbandian’s meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Makey. During a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, Edward Nalbandian dwelt on Armenian-Iranian ties, as well as regional and international developments. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
