Parliament speaker bans circulating docs in Oskanian defense

PanARMENIAN.Net - National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan disallowed Prosperous Armenia party’s parliamentary group to circulate documents in Vartan Oskanian’s defense inside the parliament’s boardroom.

The documents contain legal foundations proving Prosecutor General’s proposal to strip Vartan Oskanian of deputy immunity to be baseless.

As Prosperous Armenia faction secretary told journalists, the party’s representatives will be handing out the papers to the MPs entering the parliament’s boardroom.

On September 27, Armenia’s Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan submitted a proposal to the National Assembly to strip ex-foreign minister Vartan Oskanian of deputy immunity over the Civilitas Foundation money laundering case.
