Cesare Prandelli: match vs. Armenia important to Italy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Italy attaches great importance to the matches vs. Armenia and Denmark, the squad’s head coach said.

“We must secure both physical and tactical preparation for the match. The squad includes new young players who will ensure Italy’s entry to the 2014 FIFA World Cup,” Cesare Prandelli said.

Vice-champions of Europe already had their first training, with Angelo Ogbonna, Ignazio Abate and Marco Verratti having missed it due to health problems.

Italian footballers will arrive in Yerevan on October 10, with match vs. Armenia scheduled for October 12.
