PACE Armenian delegation composition to change – paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, though Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member Naira Karapetyan denied the rumors suggesting she’ll replace parliament vice speaker Hermine Naghdalyan as a member of Armenian delegation to PACE, recent reports proved the fact.

As Hermine Naghdalyan stated at a parliament-hosted news conference, she won’t be joining PACE delegation, for lack of a precedent for a vice speaker to be included into a delegation.

“However, back in 2003-2008, then vice speaker and later, speaker Tigran Torosyan was included into Armenian delegation to further become its head,” the paper said.
