PM: education of socially vulnerable children a key issueOctober 10, 2012 - 15:50 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The government of Armenia approved a new procedure for a 50% to 100% compensation of tuition fees for students from vulnerable families. Armenian Minister of Science and Education Armen Ashotyan stressed the importance of the social project to cover the tuition of 1000 students when it enters into force in 2013; by 2015 the number of students to benefit from the project will reach 2500. According to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the families’ financial state mustn’t prevent children from getting education, the issue being among the key ones on presidential agenda.
