Russian Accounts Chamber chair hails lasting ties with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Russia hailed strategic partnership between Moscow and Yerevan in the sectors of economy, politics, education and culture. “Close historic ties Armenia and Russia formed almost 2 centuries ago have never been broken despite change in borders and form of statehood,” Sergei Stepashin said in Yerevan.

“To us, state audit is a new form of international cooperation. However, there are few foreign financial control bodies Russian Accounts Chamber could have established cooperation as successful as with Armenia’s Control Chamber,” Stepashin said.

The Accounts Chamber of Russia delegation lead by the Chairman Sergei Stepashin arrived in Armenia Tuesday, October 16.
