President stresses CIS role in development of humanitarian tiesOctober 19, 2012 - 17:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzh Sargsyan met with the participants of Armenia-hosted education ministers’ conference on Friday, October 19. At the meeting, the Armenian leader stressed the role of the CIS in the development of multilateral cooperation between the countries. According to the President, the Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund of CIS Member States boosted coordinated cooperation between the states. The Armenian leader stressed the importance of the conference in exchange of experience and discussion of education sector-related issues. In conclusion President Sargsyan briefed the guests on educational reforms implemented in Armenia and problems in the sector.
