Armenian PM says tangible progress reported in agriculture industryOctober 19, 2012 - 17:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended ArmProd EXPO 2012 international exhibition in Yerevan. As he noted, the expo fosters the development of manufacturing industry. “We aim to assist Armenian enterprises in their search for new markets. There is no company at the exhibition that doesn’t export its products – that’s our priority,” Prime Minister Sargsyan said, adding that the participants had posted on average 20% growth in 2012. He further named agriculture as the key sector having fostered the economic growth this year, with tangible progress reported in the field. ArmProd EXPO 2012, organized by RA Agriculture Ministry, Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) of Armenia and LOGOS EXPO Center, has brought together over 45 companies, associations, unions and organizations. ArmProd EXPO aims to boost the effective realization of high-quality food products and commercial efficiency, searching for new practical solutions for the modern market. Covering Armenia’s entire food market, it reflects the key development trends in domestic and foreign agriculture industry. On October 20, the event will feature a major forum on agriculture, to be chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The event will run until October 21.
