RPA rep: Prosperous Armenia presidential candidate can’t rival current leader

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group member doesn’t believe the Prosperous Armenia party to be a proper rival to RPA in the upcoming presidential race.

“Any political force is considered a rival to certain extent. However, I can’t say the same about Prosperous Armenia,” Sukias Avetisyan said.

Dwelling on the statements deeming the current leader favorite for presidency, the MP said, “We can point to Serzh Sargsyan as the sole favorite.”

He further cited RPA’s victory in May parliamentary elections to prove his point.
