Israeli police arrest some 70 medics over abuse charges

PanARMENIAN.Net - Israeli police arrested 10 and detained some 70 medical practitioners on Wednesday on suspicion of abusing inmates over several years, at Petah Tikvah Mental Health Institute.

Doctors and therapists were among the group of suspects arrested. Police suspect some of the practitioners committed sexual offenses, beat the inmates, and tied them to their beds.

Police were questioning the suspects, The Jerusalem Post reported.
