Paper: no opposition force can win presidency, NKR ex-FM says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Foreign Minister of Nagorno Karabakh commented on a possibility of a presidential win for an opposition candidate in a conversation with an Aravot reporter, the daily said.

“I believe, there’s no opposition party in Armenia capable of winning presidential polls on its own, even in case no electoral fraud occurs. Also, there’s no one who could be nominated as a common candidate to represent all opposition parties,” Arman Melikyan said.

“However, that doesn’t mean that everything is already predetermined with Serzh Sargsyan to retain presidency for 5 more years,” Melikyan said.
