Gyumri mayor, U.S. envoy discuss cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan met today, November 1 with U.S. ambassador to Armenia John Heffern.

Welcoming the guest, Mayor Balasanyan expressed readiness to deepen the cooperation with the U.S. embassy.

He further voiced willingness to discuss the joint programs targeting development of the city.

Ambassador Heffern, in turn, congratulated Samvel Balasanyan on his new post, expressing readiness to take practical steps to deepen relations.
