Prosperous Armenia seeks to prove govt.’s poor functioning – paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak daily, during a recent meeting of Prosperous Armenia party a goal to activate the party’s work in standing parliamentary committees as well as bring about staff reshuffle in key committees was set.

“The party aims to prevent bills submitted to committees from being passed, failing to make it to the parliament, thus proving the government’s inadequate functioning,” the paper said.

“However, President Sargsyan, who took control of a quorum issue, ordered the Republican Party of Armenia to intensify activity of the committees where the sabotages described are expected,” the paper said citing sources.
