URUGUAY TO PROPOSE UN TO ANNOUNCE APRIL 24 WORLD DAY OF GENOCIDE CONDEMNATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Uruguayan parliament unanimously passed a decision according to which the Foreign Ministry should submit to the UN consideration the proposal to announce April 24 the World Day of Genocide Condemnation, RFE/RL reported. It should be noted that Lian Kechidzhian, an Armenian in origin and a deputy of the Uruguayan parliament contributed to the decision.
