TURKEY'S EU MEMBERSHIP NO SOONER THAN IN 15 YEARS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The issue of Turkey's EU membership can be raised no sooner than in 15 years, German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer stated, D-Radio reported. In his words, Turkey has to carry out numerous reforms what will take a great deal of time. "Germans like Europe on the whole are interested in changes in Turkey", he said. According to Mr. Fischer, the reformation process will not be an easy one for Turkey but the country is really making good progress. "It can be proved by the beginning of debates on the Armenian Genocide", Joschka Fischer stated.
