RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED COPIES OF CREDENTIAL TO ARMENIAN FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian today received newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Armenia Nikolay Pavlov, who presented copies of the credential to the Minister, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry. In the course of the meeting V. Oskanian congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him luck in fulfilling the important mission. As V. Oskanian noted, after the independence the relations of Armenia with Russia became strategic ones. He also said he was sure that by his activities the Ambassador will promote strengthening the tradition of the Armenian-Russian relations. In his turn Mr. Pavlov appreciated the Armenian-Russian ties and said he was ready to make every effort to develop relations in all spheres.
