OSCE MG, Armenian FM discuss contact line tensions

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (ambassadors Robert Bradtke of the United States, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, and Jacques Faure of France) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.

Minister Nalbandian called the Co-Chairs’ attention to Baku’s provocative statements, noting that they undermine the negotiation process and aggravate the situation in the region.

The Co-Chairs, in turn, briefed the Armenian official on the outcomes of the meeting with Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan and proposals on alleviating tensions at the line of contact.

The possibility of the meeting between the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents with the mediators in the framework of OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Dublin was further discussed, RA MFA press service reported.
