Azeri ruling party says no cooperation protocol signed with RPA

PanARMENIAN.Net - New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) has dubbed the reports on cooperation with any Armenian party a “provocation”.

“YAP members present at Russia-hosted meeting signed no document,” Trend quoted deputy executive secretary of Azerbaijan’s ruling party Mubariz Gurbanli as saying.

According to United Russia party’s official website, a forum titled “Eurasian integration in the 21st century” kicked off December 3 in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a protocol on cooperation singed between representatives from United Russia, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Kazakhstan’s Nur Otan and New Azerbaijan Party political parties.

According to the post, the discussion of the document will be held in the countries having joined the agreement, with the decision to be approved by party leaders. The protocol is expected to be discussed in early 2013.
