Armenia to have regional training center for reform assistanceDecember 12, 2012 - 20:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - “Regional training center for reform assistance” will be set up in Armenia with an aim to organize and coordinate trainings for employees of state institutions. A document envisaging the establishment of the center was signed Dec 12 by National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan, head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea, UNDP Resident Representative a.i. in Armenia Patrice Coeur-Bizot and other officials. NSC Secretary said, “the establishment of the center will promote involvement of representatives of state institutions and civil sector in EU projects. We are in need of a more proactive approach to contribute to reform implementation in the country.” Mr. Hristea, in turn, hailed the initiative, expressing the EU’s readiness to continue cooperation with Armenia.
