Expert says Prosperous Armenia leader’s decision no boycott

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Caucasus Institute deemed the unification of the opposition impossible even in case of Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s running for president.

“All of the opposition forces will nominate separate candidates,” Alexander Iskandaryan said, adding that Prosperous Armenia’s votes will be divided among the incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, Heritage leader Raffi Hovannissian and ARF Dashnaksutyun’s candidate.

Dwelling on Prosperous Armenia party’s announcement to neither nominate a candidate, nor back any of the presidential hopefuls, the expert dubbed Tsarukayn’s decision policy rather than boycott.
