Heritage rep dubs 2012 year of protracted political conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - A member of Heritage party board characterized 2012 as the year of protracted political conflict, with the parliamentary vote proving unable to solve it.

As Stepan Safaryan told a December 26 news conference, “the conflict between political unions that could counterbalance the ruling authorities, thus leading to its split, was never solved. The ruling party stopped at nothing to neutralize forces acting against it.”

In conclusion, Safaryan named Heritage leader Raffi Hovannisian as the only opposition candidate capable of facing current authorities.
