Economy Minister hails 2012 as successful year

PanARMENIAN.Net - Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan characterized the year 2012 as successful, with higher-than-planned budget indices reported.

At a news conference in Yerevan, the Minister noted the increase in real sector of economy, specifically stressing a 10% industry growth, with production volume exceeding AMD 1 trillion as of November 2012.

“The export rate soared 2,5 times as compared to import growth results,” the Minister noted hailing Armenia’s progress amid global recession.

The official forecasted the growth to continue into 2013-2014.
