Turkish military jets strike PKK targets in N. Iraq

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish military jets have struck several outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) bases in simultaneous cross-border raids in northern Iraq, Today’s Zaman reports.

Eight F-16 fighter jets, which took off from Diyarbakır Airbase, launched overnight strikes on PKK targets in the Kandil and Zap regions as well as anti-aircraft bases in northern Iraq.

No casualties were reported. The jets safely returned to their bases after completing their mission.
