OSKANIAN MET WITH CILICIA HOUSE CATHOLICOS ARAM I

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met with Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I, reported the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. In the course of the meeting issues of concern to Armenian people, specifically, Armenia-Diaspora relations and prospects of Armenia's development were discussed. Mr. Oskanian informed Aram I about the social and economic situation in Armenia, foreign policy main directions and Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Today Vartan Oskanian is scheduled to address the ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of Haykazyan Beirut University. July 2 the Armenian FM is scheduled to meet with representatives of the Armenian community of Lebanon and to visit Aynchar region populated by Armenians.
