Child protection problems discussed in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan held a consultation on children’s rights protection, with Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan present.

Cooperation with international institutions on child protection issues was in the focus of the discussion.

The Deputy PM noted that the issue will be included on the agenda of the meeting of the council addressing human trafficking cases reported in Armenia. An agreement was further reached to raise the issue at child protection national commission meeting, the ministry's press service reported.
