ARMENIAN-ITALIAN FRIENDSHIP DAYS TO BE HELD IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to Italy Ruben Shugaryan has visited Venice, where he met with Governor Giancarlo Galan, reported the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia. The visit aimed at discussion of the Italian-Armenian Friendship Days in Armenia this autumn. Exhibition of the treasures of St. Lazarus Island forms the core of the events. G. Galan appreciated the initiative, noting the Venice authorities are ready to actually participate in the evens and received the Ambassadors invitation to visit Armenia on those days. Before going to Venice the Armenian Ambassador met with Anna Blefari Melazzi, the head of the Italian MFA Cultural Development Directorate General. During the meeting matters of organization of the Italian-Armenian Friendship Days were discussed.
