Hopeful urges president to provide fair competition ahead of vote

PanARMENIAN.Net - A presidential hopeful urged the incumbent leader to provide fair competition among candidates.

At a January 25 news conference, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian slammed current race as unequal and non-constitutional, calling Serzh Sargsyan to address the problem.

“Directors, teachers are being summoned to Municipality, with hints given as to who they must vote for. Scarves bearing the ruling party’s logos are being distributed at State University. I can’t believe the president is unaware of what’s happening in his country,” the hopeful stressed.
