ARMENIA CONSIDERS DEVELOPING COOPERATION WITH INDONESIA NECESSARY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to Indonesia Ashot Kocharyan met with head of the Department of America and Europe Arizal Effendi and head of the Central and Eastern Europe Department of the Indonesian MFA Hazairin Pohan July 27, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. In the course of the meetings development of the Armenian-Indonesian cooperation was discussed. The need to activate political, commercial, economic, scientific, technical, cultural cooperation was noted. The parties also considered mutual visits of senior delegations necessary, as well as the forming of a corresponding legal framework. The same day A. Kocharyan met with Indonesian Minister of Industry Andung Nitimiharjo. In the course of the meeting the Armenian ambassador presented the economic developments in the country in detail, the investment policy, legal framework, prospects of development of tourism, the potential of development of the Armenian-Indonesian commercial and economic cooperation. A. Kocharyan also informed about the advantages of making investments in Armenia, specifically underscoring sustainable economic development and availability of a legal framework favorable for investment. In the course of the meeting the interlocutors noted that legal framework should be formed and business forums and mutual visits of senior delegations should be organized to promote the Armenian-Indonesian relations.
