8 Armenian skiers to participate in World Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian ski championship completed today, Feb 7 in resort town of Tsaghkadzor.

The event brought together 50 athletes from Armenia, Australia and Czech Republic.

Myasnik Gharibyan and Gorik Gevorgyan came first among men, followed by Karen Yeritsyan- Aram Grigoryan, Armen Davoyan - Slavik Simonyan.

Haykanush Yeritsyan and Grimer Lesintska (Australia) finished 1st among women, followed by Anna Mkhitaryan – Katya Galstyan and Lilit Tonoyan – Marine Nersisyan.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Armenian Ski Federation Secretary General Gagik Sargsyan hailed the organization and conduction of 2013 championship.

The championship results will determine Armenia’s squad of 8 athletes for Italy-hosted world championship.
