ARMENIAN PRESIDENT MET WITH EU SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR SOUTH CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Heikki Talvitie, reported the Press Service of the Armenian leader. In the course of the meeting the parties discussed issues referring to the practical program of cooperation within the European Neighborhood Policy. Besides, the interlocutors discussed the process of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as regional issues and development. R. Kocharian and H. Talvitie touched upon constitutional reforms in Armenia, emphasizing their importance and considering them a new opportunity to promote and strengthen democracy in Armenia.
