ANC to struggle for victory in Yerevan City Council polls – rep.March 18, 2013 - 18:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc has voiced confidence that it will pass Yerevan City Council election threshold. “The congress is currently the strongest political force. I’m certain that the ANC will win in case of legitimate polls,” ANC parliamentary group leader Levon Zurabyan said, adding that they will struggle for victory. The MP stressed the importance of the unification of the opposition, with ANC having offered several options. “A decision to submit a common list for the elections would make some forces declare themselves a favorite,” Mr Zurabyan said, adding that the proposal was addressed to Prosperous Armenia, Heritage and ARF Dashnakstutyun parties.
