Athens hosts Genocide 100th anniversary events committee meeting![]() March 22, 2013 - 20:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 21, Armenian embassy in Greece hosted the first meeting of Genocide 100th anniversary events coordination committee in Athens. The committee included representatives of Greek-Armenian community institutions and Armenian embassy. It will establish close cooperation with relevant state committees and Diaspora institutions. The problems, the goals and the future plans of the newly-established committee were discussed. The committee members further exchanged ideas on organizational issues, came up with offers and comments. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
