Armenia-EU cooperation in education discussed in Brussels

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan posted a note on his Facebook page, announcing the details of his working visit to Brussels.

“On March 25, I paid a two-day visit to Brussels, with Armenia-EU cooperation in the field of education on the agenda. I met with European Commission’s director of higher education and international affairs Jordi Curell Gotor.

EU has become a significant partner for Armenia in term of educational system. Discussion of Armenia’s assumption of 2012-2015 Bologna Secretariat, educational contacts in the framework of Eastern Partnership, the course of the implementation of reforms in higher education, as well as organization of the ministerial summit, due in Yerevan in 2015 were discussed.

The European Commission offers continuous support to Armenia’s educational system. Upon completion of the meeting, I invited Mr Jordi Curell Gotor to Armenia,” the post reads.
