Mikhail Sachavariani conveyed Georgian Speaker Nino Burjanadze's congratulations on the 15th anniversary of the Armenian Parliament to A. Baghdassaryan. In his turn A. Baghdassaryan highlighted activation of interparliamentary ties and resumption of the work of Armenian-Georgian Interparliamentary Commission. The interlocutors discussed the question of restoration of communication through the Abkhaz part of the railway. Mr. Baghdassaryan underscored the importance of social programs in Javakheti region of Georgia mostly populated by Armenians. Armenia is ready to do its best for implementation of those programs, he said. At the instance of M. Sachavariani, A. Baghdassaryan presented the process of constitutional reforms in Armenia. The interlocutors highlighted strengthening reforms for establishing stability and development in the South Caucasus.
