San Paulo Marks Armenian Script 1600th Anniversary

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within the framework of the festivities marking the 1600th Anniversary of Armenian Script, as well as the week of Armenia San Paulo major communities held a number of events including the annual exhibition of Gymnasium after Duryan, reported the Armenian MFA Press Service. Heads of all religious and political organizations of the Armenian community of Brazil participated in the exhibition. October 29 Armenian Consul General Ashot Yeghiazaryan and head of the Armenian Studies Department of San Paulo State University Lusine Eghiazaryan gave lectures, as well as showed documentaries and photos about Armenia. Besides, youth of the Brazilian Armenians presented programs on their trips to Turkey and Armenia.
