Int’l expert hails Armenian investment market development prospects

PanARMENIAN.Net - In terms of investment, Armenian market can be classified as a developing one, with a growth tendency noted in certain sectors, an international expert, Independent Member of the Ameriabank Board of Directors Robert von Rekowsky said.

At an April 22 news conference, the expert expressed hope for Armenia’s potential for further development. Dwelling on the implementation of the corporate management system, the expert noted that the latter will appear as soon as a demand for additional financing arises.

According to the expert, the accumulative pension system, which is currently being implemented, will promote the development of capital market in Armenia. In conclusion, the expert advised following the example of countries which succeeded in the reforms above: Chile, Poland and Russia.
