Armenian Opposition will not Recognize Referendum Returns Irrespective of Outcome

PanARMENIAN.Net - «The campaign on the referendum over constitutional amendments was held with violations, thus we will not recognize the vote returns irrespective of the outcome,» Justice opposition bloc Secretary Victor Dallakyan stated during a news conference in Yerevan today. In his words, violations during the propaganda are a very serious problem. «We recognized the referendum illegal already at the time,» he stated, urging people not to take part in the constitutional referendum and to boycott it. In V. Dallakyan's words, opposition intends to «call to responsibility the Armenian President, Prosecutor General and his Deputy for exceeding their commission and violation of the electoral legislation.» Besides, V. Dallakyan reported data received from observers of the united opposition from 221 polling stations. According to these data, as of 2:00 p.m. 125863 electors have taken part in the vote, i.e. 5,6 %. It should be noted that 6500 opposition representatives observe the referendum throughout the country.
