MOSCOW AUTHORITIES TO WORK NOT TO ADMIT SPLITS BETWEEN ARMENIAN DIASPORA AND MUSCOVITES

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Moscow authorities will work not to admit splits between the Armenian diaspora and Muscovites. As reported by "Arka" agency, said Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov during his visit in Yerevan. In his words, the Union of Armenians of Russia plays a significant role in the cause. He expressed satisfaction with the Union activities in strengthening the Armenian-Russian ties. Y.Luzhkov noted the need for recurrent meetings between the Moscow and Yerevan mayors, emphasizing that "it will contribute to implementing joint projects." Let us note that Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov and Yerevan mayor Robert Nazarian signed an agreement on cooperation between the capitals for 2003-2004 yesterday.
