Foreign Ministry: no info on Armenian victims in Damascus blast

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Ministry has no information on Armenian victims in a blast that rocked the district of Marjeh in Damascus, where Armenian embassy is located, the ministry spokesman said, noting that the reports are being verified.

Earlier on Tuesday, April 30 a powerful explosion rocked the Syrian capital Damascus.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said nine people were killed and dozens wounded in the blast in the district of Marjeh. It is not clear what caused the blast. Gunfire was reportedly heard in the area immediately after the explosion.
