 NKR President hails development of sports in Artsakh June 3, 2013 - 13:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The President of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan paid a visit to the village of Shekher in Martuni region to see a volleyball tournament on Sunday, June 2. After the event, President Sahakyan stressed such competitions as key components in the development of physical culture and sports and upbringing of the younger generation. The NKR leader thanked French philanthropist Garbis Nikoghosyan for supporting the event. Chairman of the state committee on sports under the NKR Cabinet of Ministers Razmik Hovsepyan and other officials accompanied the President, the Central Information Department at Artsakh President’ Office reported.
