Baku Militaristic Statements Aggravate Situation over Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - "There exists a working document on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement which doesn't need to be signed," RA President's Spokesman Victor Soghomonyan stated when commenting on the possibility of signing of any document during the recurrent meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents. He said he would not like to go into detail because recently like before the start of any negotiations the Azeri party makes discoveries, which usually prove false. "Let us wait till the start of the negotiations and speak of it then," the Spokesman said.

When commenting on Robert Kocharian's attitude towards the frequent statements by representatives of the International Crisis Group as regards the relevance of Baku's militaristic statements Soghomonyan noted, "Recently the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process is much spoken about. Russian, Ukrainian, Azeri and foreign media frequently refer to the topic and there are various viewpoints, which often lack rational core." " I do not think there is a problem of attitude. The negotiations are being held by the Presidents and I think all these statements and viewpoints will not have any effect," the President's Spokesman said.
