“New Aleppo” district to be built in Ashtarak city

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government approved a program on construction of “New Aleppo” district in Ashtarak city in Aragatsotn province.

Coordination Center for Syrian Armenians’ issues NGO will mark out area of 4,8 hectares in Ashtarak for construction of a district for 600 families, who are ready to pay 50% of the property value. According to RA ministry of Diapora, the number of Syrian Armenians who came to homeland totals 7000.

In this context, Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan noted that such districts will be constructed in other cities, too.
