Gyumri mayor, Indian envoy discuss investment programs

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gyumri mayor Samvel Balasanyan met on June 15 with Indian ambassador to Armenia Suresh Babu.

Mayor Balasanyan briefed the envoy on the history of the city, economic and social situation, as well as ongoing reconstruction works.

Ambassador Babu, in turn, dwelt on Armenian-Indian relations, joint programs, Armenian community and Indian economic achievements. The two later discussed India’s possible involvement in investment programs in Gyumri.
