Ararat province farmers to sell apricots at AMD 500 per kilo

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s apricot-purchasing companies met farmers during a special sitting in Ararat province. An agreement was reached, with the price for processing companies set at AMD 500 per kilo, Deputy Agriculture Minister Robert Makaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net

Beside Spaika, other companies will also be involved in the purchase of apricots, with negotiations under way.

Earlier, a group of farmers launched a rally demanding to set an acceptable price for apricot purchase.
