Karabakh Commission to Be Formed at Azeri Parliament

PanARMENIAN.Net - A Karabakh Commission will be formed at Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan. «We will accomplish our initiative on forming the Karabakh Commission, composed of MPs, in the parliament spring session,» stated Chair of Party of Great Creation (PGC) of Azerbaijan, MP Fazil Gazanfaroglu. He reported that a campaign to gather signatures of MPs was held to that end. 18 MPs have already signed the document on forming the Commission. «Our goal is to arrange a package of respective proposals by the commission to solve the Nagorno Karabakh issue and act for keeping that matter in the focus of attention,» the Azeri MP said. Gazanfaroglu also reported that at first they sponsored forming a Karabakh faction at the Parliament. However, it was not a success and the faction was substituted by a commission. The MP also reported that among the 18 MPs, who signed the document, there are representatives of opposition and authority leaning parties, reported Trend agency.
