Torosyan: Azeri Party Deliberately Distorts Facts as Usual

PanARMENIAN.Net - No MP or representative of a country that is CE member can make statements on behalf of the PACE. This is what Azeri delegation head Samed Seidov is doing, PACE Armenian delegation head, Armenian Parliament Vice-Speaker Tigran Torosyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. In his words, the PACE decides itself where to send its mission and the opinion of any country is not obligatory for it. The PACE Armenian delegation head supposes that the Azeri party deliberately distorts facts, as usual, by interpreting these from a perspective suitable for themselves.

PACE Azeri delegation head Samed Seidov has denied statement of former member of the PACE Armenian delegation head, MP Shavarsh Kocharian that a PACE fact-finding mission will visit Nakhichevan in the spring 2006 to examine destruction of Armenian khachkars in Old Julfa.
